Organically Grown Raspberries
Our raspberry plantings are designed for high quality direct market and are managed organically - no chemical fungicides, insecticides or herbicides are used! We take the time to specially trellis our raspberry canes so that the fruit is more abundant and easier to pick. We have an abundant crop this year and our varieties include:
- Killarney - related to the old time northern variety Boyne, but has larger, better tasting fruit making it an excellent mid season variety. Available mid July.
- Encore - Encore has excellent size and flavor and ripens later than most summer bearing raspberries extending the raspberry season at Blue Vista.
- Prelude - The earliest summer red raspberry. In Bayfield picking should start approx. July 4th.
- Nova - A heavy yielding mid summer red raspberry with a large, firm and tart berry.
- Royalty - A purple raspberry with very large berries. High pectin and antioxidant levels make this variety great for jams , pies, sauces and juice.
