Pick your Own or Already Picked
The design and layout of our fruit fields is for pick your own. You'll never have far to walk from our centrally-located barn retail shop to access the picking fields. If you don't have time for pick-your-own, already picked fruit is available for purchase in our retail shop. The Barn Retail Shop is open 9-5 weekends  May and June, 8-5 daily July- October or by appointment. We are closed Tuesdays.

    BlueberriesAll of our blueberry varieties are half high bush plants, which are a cross between cultivated high bush and 'wild' low bush plant varieties. The result are 'half highs' which combine intense fruit flavors associated with wild plants while taking on the larger fruit size and plant stature of high bush plants.

    BlueberriesOur raspberry plantings are also designed for high quality direct market. We take the time to specially trellis our raspberry canes so that the fruit is more abundant and easier to pick.  We have an abundant crop this year and our varieties include: 2010 Prices:  Pick-your-own/pound:  $ 3.50

    Eco-Apples
    Blue Vista Farm offers pick-your-own in our low-spray orchard or already picked apples. Many of the apple varieties we grow are resistant to a major disease of apples called apple scab, and so require fewer fungicide sprays, reducing overall spray application up to 60% when compared with other varieties. We also employ integrated pest management strategies to further reduce our spray inputs.
    Our varieties include:
     Many of our apples are grown on a wire trellis spaced very close together on dwarf trees, which means easier picking and higher quality fruit for the customer.

    New for 2010:  Pre order your apples and receive a 10% discount.  Place an order for Liberty, Cortland, Gala or Priscilla of 1 bu or more by Sept. 15, 2009 and we will honor a 10% discount.  Simply call in your order amount and we will call you when your apples are ready to be picked up at our store or picked by you in our orchard. You get incredibly sustainably grown tasty apples at a tremendous price, what could be better?

     Flower Gardens
    BlueberriesBlue Vista Farm has specialized in unique fresh-cut and dried flowers since 1989 and our gardens, known as Laura's Gardens, are a local landmark and a visual feast for the eyes. We are known for producing high quality flowers as well as offering an abundant variety. Our flowers have been featured in Better Homes and Gardens magazine, Wisconsin Trails and many calendars and books.

    Visitors frequently comment on the striking colors of our flowers. Our Bayfield climate affords extended hours of sunlight and cool nights making our flowers actually deeper and brighter in color, resulting in extra vibrant floral designs.

    Homemade Jams, Fresh Salsas, Cider and gifts
    Our retail area includes our own line of gourmet quality jams and fresh salsas made with Blue Vista Farm Fruit.

    Jams
    Our goal is to provide jams whose outstanding full flavor is an outright celebration of our farm's bounty and Mother Earth's gifts. We prepare our jams the old fashioned way - in small batches with high quality, natural ingredients using our own eco-friendly grown Blue Vista Farm fruit. We think you'll enjoy our jams, savoring their fruit-filled flavor and experiencing a taste of heaven. We love to experiment with different flavors by combining our fruit with herbs, flowers and other flavors to create a deliciously unique array of jams. Our jam flavors include: Blue Vista Farm urges you to be creative with your jam. Sure, bread and Blue Vista Farm jam is a delectable treat, no argument there, but try adding our jam to some white wine or rice vinegar with olive oil and garlic for a fruity vinaigrette to top your favorite salad, smooth it on grilled chicken and meats for a finishing glaze, add it to pan drippings with broth for a delicious meat sauce, or stir a spoonful or two into plain yogurt for a healthy dessert or breakfast treat. The possibilities are nearly limitless.

    Salsas
    Our fresh salsas are produced seasonally and are only available in our retail area. They include: Fruit Blended Teas
    Blue Vista Farm offers a unique selection of fruit blended teas developed  in collaboration with  Northwestern Coffee Mills. These include Apple Chai Black, Raspberry Ginger Green, and Blueberry Lavendar White teas.
